Scaffold labourer/driver position required - Glasgow area

Hi folks,

I'm looking to get a foot in the door in the scaffolding game...

My experience is working as a general labourer however looking to change paths and go down scaffolding route.

Over the last few days I've called 10 or so companies and agencies but no definite word yet so still looking.

I'm in Glasgow area but willing to travel reasonable distance to get the experience.

I am willing to put myself through part 1 but as you know I need the experience before I can get to do this.

I come with bags of loyalty, hard work and no moaning so I would greatly appreciate any assistance or pointers you guys may be able to give me.

Stick at it Tricky, your attitude is bang on, only thing I would say is leave the agencies alone, they will use and abuse you.

Try to find employment with a local scaffolding outfit, or even with a labour only team on a casual basis until you find your feet

Also put a post up on the front page, this thread rotates very fast and you will be dropping off the bottom in no time
