SP is correct mate, that is not Big Ben.

It's clearly Heathrow Airport.

Now you see i wasnt sure......first impressions i thought they were scaffolding an algerian visa.

That is a freestanding tower we did back in December 1999. It was sheeted in painted monoflex so it resembled the clock tower on the Houses of Parliament. The thinking behind this was that there would be too many camera crews trying to film the real thing for the Y2K millennium celebrations that there was a danger of crushing in Parliament Square.
The replica was about 63 metres high and dwarfed the worlds tallest scaffold staircase which is behind it.
Big Ben is actually one of the bells inside the tower.

On second thoughts, it's clearly Primark in Skipton.

As stated by HSWT Big Ben is the Bell, St Stephen's is the name of the actual tower, think Sturdy Scaffolding who changed to Big Ben after a collapse in Westminster were one of the first to scaffold the fore mentioned tower.

The actuall tower is called Elizabeth tower after the queens jubilee celebrations

The name of the tower is no longer the Clock Tower and is now the Elizabeth Tower. It was called St Stephen's Tower by Victorian journalists. They referred to anything to do with the House of Commons as news from 'St Stephens', as originally MP's used to sit in St Stephen's Hall.
