It is with regret that I must advise of the passing of John Chester Lightley.

John was part of the industry for more than 35 years both in the UK and the ME.

John passed peacefully in his sleep today having lost his brave battle with cancer.
 
RIP John, no more pain. commiserations to his family and all that knew him
 
Sad loss

John was a great character, I worked with John when I was an improver scaffolder. John was highly intelligent and a great scaffolder.

The last I heard he was working in the Far East.

We always had a great laugh, we made some money, and drank some beer.
