Does any1 else have to clip down 13ft boards indoors?

If that's what they want and they're paying for it then they get it.

Plastic boards are w@nk they slip when wet you slip when wet. Clips don't fit easy on em the list is endless

Wooden boards clipped down so they can't be moved

every ruddy job we build in side outside on top side ways you name it there clipped you also get the odd kn!b that bangs 2 nails in as well just to make it more ackward when strikeing

Hi mate in relation to tying boards down just depends what the clients request is with some companies on blue book sites we was on our hands an knees double lashing them even if you was doing a tower or 13ft independent where the stop end boards trapped them down you still had to double lash them my knees are fecked come to think of it everything is fecked if they did spine Viagra I would need some just to straighten me up and wheres plastic board man gone he was on here trying the sales tactics where is he to answer the simple question about the boards slip factor by the sounds of these borads you would be safer standing on the frozen wings of a plane while its flying

try the safelinx excellent product save time and money, bit pricey to start with but will save in the long run.

It's a really good bit of kit but as Jakdan says pricey until you see the savings (I wish my directors would see the savings););)

Really starting to wonder if the hard hat, glasses, ear plugs, ill fitting boots, gloves, harness & overalls are really worth a couple quid over a ton a day. Then there's the risk assessments which basically means I'm to blame if anything happens & now get on your knees all day clipping boards

I thought the days of men on their knees for a living was over after Arthur scargill was crushed
