Might be a daft question to some but anyhow,

If your doing a loading bay but its going straight to the second lift can you use standards that reach to the second lift ledgers of do you have to put the first lift in then punch up ??,

Obviously the first lift will still be braced the same and have Aberdeens etc. but can you do away with the puncheons.

yep course you can the only reason the puncheons are in is when its a working lift the standard goign further up would stop loading bay gates working. so when you lift the block your left t6i ither take it out and put a bigger tube in to catch the next lift of punch up easier to punch up than ratch 2 tubes out and hope they fit

That's what a thought pal, a was doing one yesterday bypassing the first lift but got asked a few questions about doing it that way by the site safety bloke. He was being alright just curious whether it was ok nd a said aye. A might be right for once :)
