new name for the NASC

Can any one help me as regards the history and founder members of NASC
I keep seeing
"Founded in 1945 the NASC",but I cannot find a history on thier website ??

A search on web-check at companies house states

National Access & Scaffolding Confederation Limited
Company number 04866191
date of incorporation 14/08/2003

What am I missing here

Also if one of their members is involved in a major HSE incident are they not to have their membership removed or with held. SGB involved in two deaths at the end of last year fined on one occasion over 100K.:notrust:
