a water water valve blew and flooded the pump room and The semi sub rig sunk, Luckily it was in shallow waters. It extended the job by 6 weeks and cost a bomb...

Not heard of a semi sub sinking because of a valve blowing. Generally they sink as a result of explosion. Think Petrobras had one sink in the Campos Basin about 10 years ago not heard of a recent one in shallow waters.
 
dont mcdonalds do the transocean rigs in the north sea as well as abroad ?
whats the bonus for and can it be taken away ?;)

Think it's McDonalds, the burger chain. They must have a franchise on a rig down there. £11 ph for flippin burgers in the middle of the Indian Ocean. Livin the dream, man.
 
Frankie boyle has been slated for jokes that werent as sick as 5 weeks offshore australia for £11 an hour;)
