im a bit nuw to the game and could do with knowing how to price for extra decks of boards and aslo how do you work the hire out if the job gos over time

Welcome to the forum.

Labour cost to place boards and remove. + Hire/depreciation cost for the time they are required + transport + your o/h and profit. (price excludes adaption)

Agree in writing the period you will be hireing them to your customer for. Generally the additional hire cost is a multiple ofthe cost to yourself (normally 3/1). Different scaffolders will work this in other ways.

Aluminum stair system of stair lifts for seniors and others, its also provide a sense of autonomy, thereby making them self-reliant and sufficient. Aluminum stair lifts which have made is easier for people with physical disabilities to

Binthere is an old hand at the game so won't be far wrong but we maybe do it a bit different but it depends how big or hungry you are. If the request was before any erecting started, and it wasn't huge, we usually don't charge them any extra as we are now fully boarding the lifts as we go any way and all we are really putting in is retainers and an additional hand rail. Some of our jobs seem to go up a bit faster when they are fully boarded compared with messing about lifting boards. If it's after, it's usually time to lay and additional material as Binthere says.

Our hire is usually between 5 and 10% of the contract price but that is the figure I play about with to either win the work or offer a deal. This is usual after 4 weeks hire free in the contract price but again can be adjusted at the tender stage depending on the circumstance.

good idear aom when you think about it!! your not using that many more boards unnless its a big lump its safer and got to be easier errecting and dismantling and the time scales not that much longer. and the safety factors got to be easier should someone have a accident,
