:mad:Below is a list of companies that according to the NASC website stipulate that they only use NASC companies.

Luckily not all on the list have been brainwashed by the villains of our industry I can see companies that we do work for and companies our non NASC competitors do work for.
The reason we work for these companies is not because we are a part of a cartel but because we supply a good service at a good price.

We have an excellent safety record and directly employ our own Health and Safety team, the same could not be said of some NASC members.
We are members from choice of The SCCR, SMAS and CHAS to name a few so what gives the NASC the right to brainwash and lie to the Main Contractors pretending their house is in order and their local NASC member is their best option when we all know that on many occasions it's not.

Don't name them but how many of the following do non NASC companies work for?

Anglian Home Improvements
Anglian Water Services
Anglesey Council
BAA
Balfour Beatty Construction Ltd
Bam Construct
Bath & NE Somerset Council

Sure I did a job for one of those for a none NASC company not that long ago.

Is it not the Companies that are lying to the NASC?

Yeah, everyone in our trade is all out to get us.

We've worked for 5 companies on that list. 4 of them in the last 3 months and we ain't NASC.

What are the chances of the NASC retracting their incorrect statement????

Are you working direct for any of these companies Swifty?

Extract from one of our customers SOP's..

3. Competence
3.1 Scaffolding Contractors
3.1.1 Must be full members of the NASC or actively working towards membership.

Pretty open-ended that one...

That's settled then. No need to actually join just say you will at some point.

We must be planning to join in the near future lol

Yeah it depends on how you interpret 'actively working towards membership'

Emailing for an application form?

I've lost my internet connection it won't go. I'll try again in a few months.

haha, I love all this. The NASC get slated on numerous threads for running a closed shop and keeping the wee man down and all that jazz, only an organisation for the big boy's despite one of the smallest firms being a member and despite my many posts of cash is king if you are a member or not, and now they are getting slated because some other firms who have taken an understatement to only use NASC registered firms for their own ends no doubt are not sticking to that statement. Well while we are at it, I think the NASC should come up here and rub my back as it's a bit sore.
