DSL praised for HSE Performance at the Magnox Bradwell Site

The Industrial Services Division of Deborah Services Limited has been recently commended by the onsite Health and Safety Committee (HESAC) at the Magnox Limited Bradwell site. The company were praised for their employee’s contribution towards the sites excellent safety performance.

Deborah Services provide term maintenance works on the Magnox Bradwell site that includes access, insulation, asbestos removal, fire protection and painting. The company first started working on this site back in 2005.

The onsite HESAC Committee Chairman, Steve McNitt commented, ‘‘DSL is a vital part of the accelerated decommissioning team at Bradwell. The Bradwell HESAC is proud to recognise DSL for the contribution they have made to safety on site’’.
DSL received further praise for their ‘‘attitude shown to safety, the positive reporting culture and the response to events by all members of your organisation reflects great credit on the Bradwell DSL group and is greatly appreciated’’.

DSL Industrial Services Divisional Director, Chris Foulkes comments ‘‘congratulations to all DSL employees on site for yet further positive and proactive safety performance, this can only be through excellent leadership from our site management and a culture throughout the site by DSL’s workforce. I am sure this is evident in other contractor’s workforce on this site.

DSL Senior Operations Manager, Jim Salkeld further comments ‘‘this shows DSL in a good light on how good we are at delivering a SAFE and timely task whilst remaining focused on performance, you cannot help but feel proud in our team at Bradwell headed by DSL Site Manager, Dave Hannon and Asbestos Manager, Bernard Nuttall and all of the onsite workforce. We continue with a safe approach and continual improvement to safety at Bradwell’’.
