look like thicker boards

look like they are for protection of roof only

other lift made out for boards working lift

nice job

Worked there years ago,10ft boards 2" thick ,standards set at 8ft apart, trannies tied off with doubles across standards aberdeens above ledger practically. Looks like sole plates, running down the roof. Top lift same as. Intermediate trannies more like ties.

Yea but there's intermediate trannies and what looks like a pair of butting tube on the top lift:huh:

Youre rite Bigfish. Didnt spot the butted trannies. Aberdeens on the first platform, minus intermediates. I seem to remember basing out this way. They always tied first lift trannies with dubs.

Theres steel perlyns underneath the 3 mtr boards wot i want to know is do you think its ok to erect scaffs like this as i know its not. And the first lift is a working lift.

One thing for sure it would not get past the HSE boys over here, if as you say the first lift is a working lift the scaffold is a disgrace

3 boards wide is pretty standard in nz, boards made of laminated ply and are allowed to span 8 foot
