Hi Everyone

ive been asked by a contractor to board out base lift on residential properties free of charge because he says that it is legislation that this must be done as a matter of course.
ive never heard of this fact... does anyone know if this is written anywhere??

thats a new 1 to me m8t if he wants a boarded lift m8t he should pay for it, in tg20 its boarded for you to erect the next lift and thats all m8t

Welcome Sunderland ,ask him to show the legislation he is on about and then charge him when he cant produce it :)

Just put boards over the doorways to stop any sH+t falling in the old dears new perms to keep the ******** happy and then charge him as phillo said.

If its a path / walkway under it should have 'crash deck' above . A perm costs a fortune these days . They should have asked for you to ensure that it was in your quote .

Prove it or pay for it!!!

ha ha not Bramall construction is it!!!!

If its an access way for pedestrians it must be boarded as a matter of course. You as a scaffold frim have a duty of care for any occupied or even unoccupied premises and must maintain a safe passage for all. Some contractors will demand you double board and visqueeen these areas.

welcome mate as said if this is on street or walk way should be double board and visqueen
