So why are Wellington boots, not banned then..........Concreters and groundworkers wear them all the time !!!!!!! and siteworkers in snowy and Wet weather wear them ?????
Asked the same question Paddy and was told welly's are protection for concrete workers and in the event of sprain or fracture are easily cut off.

I could only say Paddy....... cos the duty of beyond Reasonably Practicability... Concrete burns pose a more serious risk than sprained ankles???????????due to the nature of work????

Time trouble money you know all the pitfalls??? who would be a Safety Man:amazed::wondering:

Riggers are ok if you get a good fit, once they get old they start going loose round the ankle.. so get some new ones.. worn offshore in case you fall overboard.. easier to get off than lace ups..

We`re doing work for scotish power, putting up towers re-placing electical cables on residential houses however the electric supply has been switched prior to work.
The health n safety is ott but if i can come up with an expalnastion to why riggers are justified i wont have to bye new boots.
is it rediciluos or is it just me?

We had to stand on a monitor type thing to make sure the soles were anti static, depends what environment your working in.
