Scaffolders needed, Copenhagen, Denmark

You're absolutely right, a place to stay and how to go about it is super important.
Maybe it's a good idea to be perhaps a crew that know each other, who could rent a shared flat?
I dunno, but i think I'll learn something along this deal.
I know cph isn't a cheap town, but most scaffolders make a really good living, even the cost of living considered.
And while you're stuck here, cph is actually a nice place, not some boring shithole in the middle of nowhere. I know that money talks, but it's still worth considering that you wont bore yourself to death
 
Spot on boilerlad. Many people think that working overseas gives untold riches and that they will be able to retire after 6 months.
It is important to realise that these days most overseas work is a lifestyle change not a treasure chest.
Good idea to get guys who know each other to share the costs of a place. We did that many moons ago and it works although there are bound to be a few personality clashes and fall outs.

How about it then HSWT, you me and a mad axeman sharing a flat again? Seriously though very interested, always fancied Scandinavia and boilerlad does give me confidence in the job. I should imagine it'd be a bit cold for you these days.
 
have worked and lived there very interested to go again. people will be shock at a price of beer but I don't drink...but pizza is cheap.
 
£6-£9 a pint in Norway and Sweden so I'd assume cph will be the same but I'm sure a single man wouldn't struggle to pay that with what's on offer ;)

Those were the days my friend. We didnt pay rent though. And we were on pricework and tax free.

Go for it mate you have the experience.

Yeah, they were different times and circumstances, it's like you said in a previous post, there is no pot of gold to retire with after a year or 2. But it sounds like a good job in a great city and could lead to more permanent or different work.
 
Yeah must agree cass if theres a good job that can lead to permanent in a great city u got to take it the combination of the 2 are very rare
 
I have a lot of PM's, and each need a real answer.
We're in no hurry yet, at least not enough to rush things.
We're starting slowly on the project end of this month, and have plenty capacity, but when the next client kicks off, in march, things will happen.
I'm really busy this weekend, but I'll try to getback to each one by monday.

Sgb had a company branch in cph. Tried cuplock......yikes, i hated it....
 
all the boys that are tube based hate it but it is funny as fook to watch them base out with cuppy for the first time :) lol

I actually started with cuplock then went onto tube they were prob laughing at me base out haha!!!!
