Hi Kid from Donny,

Sorry to hear that, hope you find something new soon.
In answer to your question, this income is part of the 2010-11 tax year which ends on the 5th April 20011. From the 6th you can submit your tax return and yes you should certainly claim on everything that you are entitled to.
With the other part of your question, I'm not sure what you mean by informing Inland Revenue unless you are talking about relief from paying your NI Class 2, however if you're meaning is with regard to JSA while you seek a new opportunity you shoul be entitled to it if your NI is up to date.

You know you can always give us a call if you need anymore advice BTW.
Good luck.

Hi Kid,

That's probably your best bet but you can always give us a quick call if you're at all unclear on anything. It's only a couple of weeks to go now though :)
