the layout could be less cluttered, seems to have been designed by a bureaucrat. A forum is a good idea but unless you are able to communicate with other people instantly it is more of a bulletin board than anything. But at least someone is trying. Many thanks scaffolding forum.

Hi Simon

Thanks for your feedback.

Most of the biggest forums on the internet use the vBulletin forum software for example - Bodybuilding.Com (http://forum.bodybuilding.com/), Offtopic.com (http://forums.offtopic.com/), Digital Spy (http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/forums/) and many more

It is the industry standard forum platform and most forums are organised in a similar way.

We have had discussion about instant chat before and the negatives far outweigh the benefits for example; it is impossible to moderate, there will be less forum posts and no records of useful posts and threads etc.

The hosts are looking into the problem, but it looks like the one of the MySQL databases is corrupted.

Should be fixed soon!

the " MySQL databases " Are a right pain in the old rear end, they are always part of a problem
