Their are constant rumours that c.i.s.r.s are now looking to set a minimum of 4 years between scaffolding courses part 1/2/3.

Its a good idea , it may stop young lads walking on site like ten men with a belt on !!

Anyone agree ?

I got a year before part2 then,I need it too,been on cuplok for 3 years!!!lol

Dos,nt matter what ticket you,ve got ,your only as good as the person turning the spanner

The training system needs a hell of a shake up.

I feel you only as good as the teacher / experience / & systems in place.

Until these are all brought together & made readily available to the whole of the scaffolding Industry we will always struggle with quality.

Some will never make it in scaffolding they need telling.

The SCCR has been campaigning from the outset to up the training periods. Advanced should be 5-7 years!!!
