Hello, Hello, I am a Union Carpenter/scaffold builder since 1990. Recently upgraded my scaffold card in hopes of getting hired on up in Alberta, Canada.

Wellcome to the Site Bro---is Scaffold Training delivered by the Union ? and if so do you have to pay for it ?

Many of the Scaffs in the U.K. are obliged to self sponsor :mad:

I am a union trained carpenter, local 54 out of chicago. I served a 4 year apprenticeship back in 1990-1995 they offer all sorts of classes for apprentices, as well as journeyman upgrade classes. they are all free, provided for by the union. I took the journeyman upgrade class back in 1998 to get my scaffold card and just last month the union sent me to the training facility in las vegas to get my industrial scaffold card, which they say is now required to work in canada.
