Get a couple of Italians on as well mate, T&F Takeaway, no Job to big or small, we specialise in a wide range of scaffolding operations, " while you are waiting for our 'Specialised ' scaffolding erectors to erect your scaffold' why not have a word with our PR team. They will cater any culinary dish, for your staff while you are waiting, and serve them at their 'Bait cabin' However, due too our Religion and belief, it is not acceptable, for our PR team to make Bacon Butties, and we have not got the knowledge to make Cheese and pickle, Ham and cheese, Paste, or Corned Beef sarnies.:D

What about jamaican scaffolders

Yeah man i will get there soon why dont you just chill man there is always anotha day man why rush when you could be taking it easy bro, little bit music, bit malibu, wacky baccy bro dont worry be happy bro your scaffold will be up when it is up yeah man :noworry:

I lived in South East Asia for 4 years, they use mainly bamboo scaffold n make it up as they go along, they dont have rules n regulations like we do. You dont need a license to drive, no insurance etc. A lot of their buildings collapse unless its built buy an international firm. I once saw a 7 lift scaffold around a church all built on upside down swivels and the gin wheel was a bicycle wheel, No joke.
In asia there are no scaffs as such, the workers will erect bamboo and do the painting, brick work n anything else they fancy a go at. No safety regs whatsoever.
I also lived in Aus for a year where you are advanced after a 2 day course. They dont use tube n fitting out there only to tie in and on petrol/chemical, they just have quickform and are generaly lost with tube n fiittings.
I had to use double on the transoms coz they dont have single.
Got to be seen to believed.

Plenty of T/F out in Aus, plenty of singles too, and they use transoms on doubles (aberdeens) on every job. Dont see too many scaffs in UK done properly??? Only offshore??

There work is shocking yet you see loads of there little jobs everywhere Phil.
See one on the A4 nr Brentford New Punjabi Scaffolding!!! Wonder if there prices all end in .99 lol

The polish aint no better either undercutting and putting up **** work is doing the descent proper British scaff's out of work!

Was out there a whole year didint see one single, worked in Sydney and Brisbern. The lads i worked with told me the only thing they did out of tube n fitting on the advanced course was a ramp all the rest system.
None of them had a spanner or key as they called it just a hammer for the layher and a rachet for tying in, no comparison to British scaffs. Scaffolding in Oz is just like labouring at hights
Good lads though, good grafters and great hight workers

Yes Woodsie system is the norm in the cities. You should have gone on the shut downs where tube and fitting is the norm.
Top quality jobs put up all the time.
Have a couple of Aussie scaffs who worked in UK and they always comment on the rough jobs they saw there.
You should have got out on the shut downs and petro chem works where 2 grand a week clear is the average wage. Not many 15 quids a hour jobs on them.

Sorry mate, thats a contradiction in terms, there are no Asian scaffolders. There are Asians that do scaffolding and there's scaffolding (loosest term) done by Asians but No Asian scaffolders.
I met a lad called Terry years ago at Glaxo he was ok, but he was a scaffold labourer.

They can't bring themselves to do a return or corner without stopping and building a shop !

A good attempt at reworking the old " Why dont Pakistan enter the World Cup" joke this time with a scaffolding angle.

No comment on the advanced course thought havespannerswilltravel, how can they be any good if the only thing they do from tube n fitting is a ramp?? Here we do a good job wheather it be shut down or street work. Saw a droper off sydney harbour bridge from layher, over here it would have been condemd. No comparison. As for aussies working in the uk, they wouldnt be considered scaffs unless they could work with tube n fitting and theres a bit more than ramps to be done. lol
