Please can any body tell me if the irish safepass is the same as the safety passport ie is the safepass excepted in the uk

oufc, the irish safe pass is similar to our cscs/cisrs and is only a breif statement to say you have passed a rather simple health and safety awareness test, i dont think it is valid in the uk, it never used to be, similar to when we go over there we had to do the safe pass. It is also a totally different thing to the safety passport altogether, the SP opens up doors to get you onto power stations etc and is over and above the cisrs, hope this helps.

Correct Jakdan but I worked for Shell at Balinaboy and we were ok with our cisrs cards, never did my safepass until about 2 years into my stint in Ireland.
