advice needed

hi all can anyone tell me where i can get any info on scaffolding, ie learning info terminology etc. very keen to start learning

Try CITB for training courses and info etc and try and get involved with a big Scaffolding Company as they have on the whole have better training regimes.

Obviously we are in the midst of a recession and I doubt many are taking on Trainees etc (But you have to TRY you never know) but if you are not doing anything then perphaps voluenteer to do a couple of days in a yard with a local company...It will get you familiar with the kit and to see wether its going to suit you as it doesnt for many.
