Below is a copy of the letter we've sent to all our customers. Unfortunately due to the speed at which this has all happened we have had no other choice.

James Day
August 2010

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

20th August 2010

Ref: Gary Day Associates Ltd.

It is with deep regret and sadness we have to announce the following.

In 2004, James Day, the lead developer at Gary Day Associates, was diagnosed with a secondary melanoma. This was successfully removed and treated, as was the reoccurrence a year later. Since that time all the follow up scans had been clear.

However on Monday 26th July this year, a new lump appeared. After an all body scan, further spots of melanoma were also found. This full diagnosis was only made late on the 16th August. As a result, James will be very shortly starting a very intensive and aggressive course of chemotherapy. This means that James will not be able to work consistently for at least the next 6 months.

As a result of this, we intend to do the following over the next six weeks.

1) Issue one final update to the software – this will include the following:

o All the new things that we have been working on.

o Will work without a ‘dongle’.

2) Continue to provide email support where necessary. Please use support@garydayassociates.co.uk. But please be patient.

3) We will issue the full source code of the software to all our customers.

Obviously we were not expecting to have to do this, and we hope that you will all find the above a reasonable response to the circumstances.

Despite the fact that TG:20 is now working in our offices, after in house thorough testing, we cannot guarantee that the program is fully compliant. Therefore we will be releasing the TG:20 part of the program on an ‘as is’ basis, as part of the final update.

Should you wish to contact us, please use the email address, support@garydayassociates.co.uk, or write to us, care of 22 Church Road, Bitton, Bristol. BS30 6HH

We would like to thank you all for your custom over the years, and to thank many of you for the friendship and warmth with which you have conducted business

We wish you all every success in the future.
