A little out of date but http://www.hse.gov.uk/statistics/pdf/rhsfall.pdf provides some useful figures.

Scaffold appears in the top 3 for fatal injuries and major injuries

I also have an Excel Spreadsheet which provides a breakdown of figures relating to accidents and injuries specific to scaffolding etc but couldn't figure out how to attach it. I can send it by email to anyone interested I guess.

Hi Grim72,

I'd like a copy of that, I've PM'd you my email address.

On it's way mate. Hope you find it of use/interest.

No worries, I'll send you details on the tagging products shortly. I've also designed some new scaffold tie tags and standard signage which I'd appreciate your feedback on. Should be with you in the next hour.

I'd like to see the figures for injuries to scaffolders before sg4:00 and now, it would interesting to see if there is any major fluctations in the numbers. lets face you never going to stop accidents cause you'll always have the numpties who ignore the stop end or scaffolding incomplete signs you put on for their safety.
