Anyone know of companys looking for men? currently in Gladstone but willing to travel anywhere. The union kicked me off QAL for taking all the overtime and being on a working holiday visa hahaha.

Any help appreciated.

John Holland has secured a significant contract with Chevron to carry out the design and construction of various non-process infrastructure (N.P.I) on their landmark Gorgon Project, one of the world's largest natural gas projects and the largest single resource natural gas project ever undertaken in Australia.

The Design and Construct package will deliver essential infrastructure in the buildings-operations and administration areas, including the construction of the Gorgon Project's operations centre and laboratory buildings.

We are looking for an experienced Rigging & Scaffolding Supervisor to plan and coordinate all rigging, lifting, slinging and scaffolding activities on the project.

Key Responsibilities Include:

•Supervise work on site to ensure that construction milestones are achieved;
•Ensure construction work is planned and managed in a way that minimizes health and safety risks;
•Assist in the preparation of Risk Assessments, Activity Method Statements and JHAs;
•Conduct site walks and workplace inspections to ensure compliance with Rigging and Scaffolding procedure;
•Monitor subcontractor performance and compliance with site policies and procedures;
•Maintain a daily diary of all production activities, weather events, industrial matters and safety incidents.
Key Skills / Qualifications:

•Certificate in Front Line Management;
•RA & SA High Risk Work License
•Minimum of 5 years' experience (at least 2 years as a supervisor) on major construction projects;
•Knowledge of pre-cast concrete and structural steel construction methodologies;
•Strong written and verbal communication skills;
•Knowledge of relevant OHS legislation and safety systems;
•An absolute commitment to achieving our vision of No Harm.
This position is being offered on a 3/1 fly-in fly-out roster from any Australian capital city.
