Hi to all you fellow scaffs,

I have a bit of info that may interest you with regards to passing cisrs course-

From now when you complete a part 1 ,2, or advanced you must have or reach a pass mark of 76% on the final test.( i think the skills test is compulsory as well -practical assessment on your own.)

If you do not reach this pass mark then you will get one more chance to re-sit the test 2 weeks later .

If you fail the test again then you will need to re- do the course again.

To pass any inspection course you need to achieve a pass mark of 80% and be able to spot and write a report on a dodgy scaffold. ( again you can re-sit the test if you fail).

What do you think about the above guidelines?:

We recently had 3 site managers from the same company fail the cisrs basic scaffold inspection course, there are also a number of Inconsistencies in the programme supplied by cisrs

I'm being booked on the next available course for my advanced, hopefully within the next week or so. Can anyone tell me exactly what is on the course?
