Recent visit to a German ship yard showed how they have adapted their skills to cope with the new demand of offshore wind farms.
Photo shows topside converter platform under construction using Layher of course!:bigsmile:

Not necessarily Layher, Plettac Contour is also widely used in Germany (and increasingly in UK too). From a distance they look very similar. Both Good systems though.

cant be contour they wouldnt be able to supply that much kit

It was East of Hamburg (circa 200km), Nordic yard at Warnemunde, there is also construction on-going for the same project at Wismar Nordic yard
