Anyone wanting to work in New Zealand can now get their overseas qualification recognized and do a 2 day assessment to recieve a Certificate of Competence (CoC). The CoC is restricted, this means that you are not allowed to work with swinging stages. It lasts for the duration of your work visa.

The acute shortage of scaff's in nz will have to push the money up,once the money goes up then there'll be a good supply of scaff's leaving these shores, other than the experience of the adventure there's no decent financial incentive yet:cool:

Just waiting for visa now, fingers x!!! Got two job offers but no, the money ain't great, yet.
But the lifestyles gotta be better than UK...

Good luck mate. You are right. too many people here who only seem motivated by money. The money may not be great but the lifestyle will make up for it. How much money do you need to get fresh air in the beautiful mountains?

Exactly, going for 2 yrs and if it works out, run myself through advanced for 5 yr extension....that's the plan anyways : )
