Hi
I'm currently in the process of finding a builder for a top floor conversion/extension to an existing flat, requiring the roof to be rebuilt and a new floor inserting. The quotes I have had in have been for the whole job, including scaffolding, but the numbers that have come in for this seem quite high, so I was hoping someone here might be able to give me an idea of what I should be paying, and whether I should have this put up independently.
The building is a 2 storey terrace from ground level (ground floor, first floor, second) with the dimensions being approx 6.5m (front face) x 6m (front to back) x 4.5m (rear face). As the roof will be removed, a temporary roof structure will be required.
Any help anyone could give me would be appreciated!
Cheers
