Hello i don't know if im posting in the right place here but im looking for some help, advice and some quotes.
I run a community website and have a good following within the community, we are planning to host a music festival next year and have been looking around at hiring a stage, obviously this isn't as cheap as we thought and we have had to choose an alternative :sad2:

Is it possible to use scaffolding to create a frame structure to cover a stage and hang various lighting from it ??? The floor of the stage would be seperate ??

If this is an option what sort of cost (estimate) would we be looking at for say a 20ft x 20ft x 20ft structure.

Is there any companies in Leeds / Bradford that would like to quote us or discuss it further then please don't hesitate to get in touch thisispudsey@hotmail.co.uk

Welcome Pudsey , sounds like it shoudnt be a problem and there are a few firms here that will be able to help you , you will get all the help and advice you need here.

Welcome Pudsey, a structure such as you have described, really ought to be designed with a loading of 5kN/m2, this will probably cost :sad2:

In your area RIM scaffolding are specialists in this field

RIM Scaffolding - Sporting and Entertainment Event Services

but they will charge accordingly as it sounds a little job

You may be able to get a smaller outfit to give you a cheaper alternative but you may not get a design etc if your willing to take the risk :embarrest:

Everlast scaffolding are based in Morley/ pudsey and would do it no problem

Have you tried IBN scaffolding, I think they're more Sheffield way, you could always go down the route of advertising for a reduction but I think you would be lucky.

It's def a designed job but there will prob be some companies willing to do it without a design.
