Canada

Is there an equivalent Canadian qualification, I'm waiting for a reply from Canada at the mo so will let you know. Just thought someone might know.

Hey mate, I've been in Canada nearly 3 years. Though not officially recognised you'll have no problem getting work if your employer knows you have a CISRS card. I've just changed companies and the new one asked how many hours I've got (that's the way it works here), I said I didn't know but mentioned that I have a CISRS advanced card from back home, they said oh so you're a journeyman, perfect when can you start !

Same thing happened with us mate, they nearly wet there pants when they knew we had cisrs.
