HI all. New here but hoping you can help, I have a loading bay that is now built for a client but it needs a basic design. I have drawn it myself but need loadings to be calc'd.

Loading bay 4m wide, 2 X 1.1M bays deep. Four standards in the 4M line, kicker life etc 3 X 1.5 M lifts thereafter. All top doubles are checked.. I need to know rough loadings per m2, can anyone advise?
Thanks in advance.

Welcome polesapart ,

most loading bays we erect are 20KN/M2 or 2 tonne
thing is you really need to provide calculations for designs to prove the designs work

we do a very similar loading bay thats been drawn & desighned for us the max loading for such is 1.2kn pmsq

although u've drawn it yourself i would advise u send the dwg and a photo to a designer and have a generic design made for your use, as if there is a collapse its down to you as all loading bays should be design.

try Ben @ 483

hope this helps
