I spotted this today on my way to our job.

At least he has braced it against the wall with a clever use of gaffer tape.

Its been there a couple of days alongside a road.the house owner saw me taking pics of it & asked me why I was.I told him it was to put on here & he said he thought it was put up very well as it was braced against his outbuilding. I pointed out the obvious problems with it & he said he didnt know about handrails etc.
He was more worried about not being in the pics as he is an officer in the RAF & was in uniform..
 
well done Flinty,on the road going to the Masons Arms (Burford rd I think.)
 
As I arrived the house holder was taking a cup of tea to the bloke on top of the tower,I heard him say "be careful on your way down"...should have said WTF is that doing on my roof.
 
anyone know the load capacity on gaffer tape.ha what a mess,:eek::eek:
 
The sad part is.....that scaffold is not far off par when i comes to the scaffolds you see in private home construction here in the states...yikes
