We have all had the pleasure of a nice new delivery of boards and the familiar cries of " fukkin` ell " when picking up a monster , but , has any one ever weighed one of these beasts ? ( cue the fisherman style " the one that got away " replies )

I was just going through a batch of new boards putting in Twinaplate Scaffplates and nearly had a hernia when picking up a brute of a board , so , decided to hunt out the scales and weigh the b`stard ......... 29 Kilos

Can you beat that ?

I can`t get a picture of the full board and include the scale reading so you will have to take my word for it that it is just the board on the scales , i have included photo`s of the next 2 boards in the pile for reference.

Pfft... 29 kilos is a piece pf piss!

Back in 1983 i used to carry 10 x 13ft boards and i only carried boards that weighed more then 50kgs EACH.
500kgs was nothing.

Coz im a proper geeeeeza!!! ;)

I was so tough, id carry a 21ft ladder beam on my belt just for spare!
Grrrr arrrhgghhg!!!

Any board like that, met mr Bow saw and soon became 2 6 foots.
