which is the best ties (1 Viewer)

Only one way to tie timber frame b-safe, the opollo timber screw. Formerly Apollo and an active member, not sure of contact details but could get them for you. What do you use at the moment?

this is what we use at minute mate but this a old building on a main road, but the timber is rotten in a lot of places and it has got to go 6 lifts, there is no brickwork it is straw and render someone lives there and it is right in a windy area any time of year so need to tie in as much as possable.

Tough one, take it buttressing is out the window? What about resin?

yes mate buttress out of the window there is 4ft path then a very busy main rd do not know a bout resin there is so much rot in the building, all the sea air and the wind factor 1 of them jobs mate.

If timber is rotten doubt these could be used as tie, is there no chance of speaking to the council about creating walkway then going into the road and shoreing it up. Would be dependant on how high you are going though, sounds like a pain in the ass job

Tie front to back through building with tube!!

When repairs have been made to structure then change to Apollo ties.
