and if he dont tell ya just dirve out the yard wid a wagon bouncing tell him when yav sold it and you get your wages he can have whats left but youll post it in a check

The good thing he has admitted the debt owed by writing the rubber cheque, cold comfort I know but it could prove useful later on.

As BF said, make contact with them and find out their intentions, if they are favourable, job done but if not visit your local citizens advice who will point you on the long boring road to getting your cash.

Citizens Advice or ACAS.

Hi Stimo, welcome to the forum and welcome to the world of dodgy employers, Talk to him but it sounds like the companys skint. do you know if others have lost money as well?

try phoning them mate, get no joy, make copies of the cheque& stick them up in the local cafes business card boards, just blank out your name,so the local scaffs etc see it.
good luck.

Thanks for the advice and yeah ova lad was working with hasn't even got 1 now every1 else has jacked cos of bin paid short my check was 200 short of what we agreed by the sounds of it he hasn't got the funds to pay any1 properly

I'd just go smack the cnut your never gonna get your money but at leased make you feel better just make sure no one see you....
To many of these fcukers about nowadays !!!!!!!!

Ok first thing you do is to contact the company (email is ok) and explain fully that they have not paid you your entitlement (an illegal deduction of wages)
You explain that if you do not receive your outstanding monies within fourteen days you will have no alternate but to seek to recover the monies by other means.
If they do not pay you your entitlement in full, you go onto the employment tribuneral website and bring forward a case (easy to navigate through)
The tribuneral service will then confirm within a couple of days that you have a valid case and will give you a date for a tribuneral, they will also write to the employer and inform them they have a case to answer.
They may sound like a lot of work but it really is not. Hope this helps

Neil

Hi stimo, If it helps, the last company that went bust on me while I was in their Employ took me for £4900 (Wages and expences). ( though I did later get back £900+) Sometimes you just have to move on and start again elsewhere.
