Hi just about to pay for offshore survival would it better to do uk waters or uk and Norwegian waters

Offshore survival

Do the Norwegian one as you could work in the Norwegian Sector. Used to be a couple of days longer than the UK one and a bit more expensive. Dont know about these days though.

Stick with the UK waters one first, as you can still use the UK one Worldwide anyway.Dont know anybody that has used there Norwegian one yet. It's pricey and time consuming.

That's true mate. But for starting out first time on getting the survival the UK waters is universal as well except Norway. Saving a few bob in the process.Ive had mine nearly 10 years now and worked at various locations worldwide.

My Norwegian last feb was £90 dearer and was done at the end of the last day

Not been offshore at all mate, not really tried to be honest, went straight from doing my offshore to a refinery for 6 months for a shutdown then on to London bridge, was happy where a was and making more money

just done me offshore at Survivex Aberdeen, bosit, mist, medical and Norwegian escape chute was £946 all in, put another £250 on top of that for digs and fuel..
