Description Scaffolder for offshore windfarm
Duties / Nature of works:
To support trades requiring access to for welding, mechanical/ pipe work installations, electrical installations, painting and inspections.
To erect / dismantle, access platforms ,ladders ,staircases and walkways.
Qualifications Required:
1. All grades – Part 1 , Part 2 and advanced must be CISRS registered
2. ENG 1 or UKOOA Medical Certificate.
3. NARC Climbing Certificate.
4. STCW sea survival training certificate.
5. St Johns ambulance or equal approved first aid certificate (not essential).
6.Rigging Certificate (not essential).
Working Hours:
A standard working day will be 12 hrs ,this includes transit to and from the offshore field by client provided vessels.
Work offshore is carried out 7 days a week 365 days a year, operatives will work a maximum off 14 days consecutive offshore days after which a 5 day rest period is mandatory.
If operatives on any given day are instructed not to turn in due to inclement weather we pay standby rates only (8 hrs max).
