Introduction & scaffolders wanted

Good Morning All,

I am new to this this forum and just wanted to say hello to you all and introduce myself. My name is David Whitehouse and i work for an agency called 3D Personnel Ltd, 3D Personnel Ltd specialise in recruitment for Construction.

I myself have been in Recruitment for the last 12 years and firmly believe in honesty is the best policy when recruiting for my clients. All i can tell you is if i do have any requirements with regards to Scaffolders I will give you as much information as i have been given. The length of the contract, hourly pay rate and so on. I would expect any person who starts for me on the first day to speak to the client before there induction to confirm the duration. If a job is for 2 days then i will tell you its for 2 days and not lead you up the garden path. I have seen this far to much in my time in recruitment and would rather build up trust with people first.

I am currently supplying Scaffolders to Heathrow airport and I am looking for an additional 2 Scaffolders, Part 2 to start tomorrow. All scaffs must have photo ID (Passport or Driving Licence) and also have a clean record. Please can you let me know if your are interested in this position.

Pay rate for this position is £15 per hour, minimum 8hrs a day. I am unable to offer digs or travel allowance with this position.

welcome mate,seems a little low compared to what others in your industry are offering on here,any chance of using your silky skills to start off on a good footing with the Forum,its crying out for a decent agency :D

Thank for you reply, from what I have seen so far I havent seen anyone with a better rate. I have only been on here for the last couple of days and I have been reading different comments and so on.

I will put it open to you all, you come back to me and tell me what the going rates are for a PART 2 Scaff and i will try and see what i can do for you.

As long as I know what decent Scaffs are looking for I have no problem in speaking with my clients and seeing if anything can be done.

great attitude mate but also prepare for some astronomical numbers lol,if its only the 8 hours with no digs at 15 it seems a little low ,but i wont knock you and let the london based boys give you their thoughts ;)

After hearing this is the site to be on with regards to Scaffolders, Thats my plan I wouldnt want to waste anyones time on here.

On blue book sites your looking around £15 an hour, plus anywhere between £1-£3 bonus. Plus an allowance of £230 accommodation tax free.
Plus over time at £20 and premium at £25.78 an hour.

Welcome David , i dont see anything wrong with £120 a day for part 2 , the way things are at the moment iam sure there are plenty lads would work for it
 
David, honesty is the best policy. You have stated rates etc guys know what to expect. Good agencies are hard to come by ive dealt with em most of my career trust me 95% of them are simply young desk jockeys who dont av a clue. You will get good guys off here but never fek with a scaff. Good luck.

hope fully it was a typing error and not some 1 taking the p1ss if it was a typing erro welcome marra and hope fully you can put the rest of the agencies to shame ps acencie staff shopuld be on more than paye to cover holidays and what have you so negotiate your rate higher than what eveyr other agencie is please :D
 
didnt realise scaff1989 had quoted someone for a mo and thought fuk me wheres marra gone :weird:
