Has anyone gone in for their part one aged 40 or there abouts?think i'm gonna die of embarrassment,been scaffolding 20 odd years and never bothered taking the courses,would be good to hear if others have been in the same boat,may not feel as bad then
 
Yes mate,loads on here have done it. They didnt have a choice. eictb boys etc.
At least youll know more than all the other. Youll breeze it.

Welcome Lee, plenty of experienced hands have had to do the same as you.
I'm not sure if they learnt anything new though.
 
Thanks,will probably do it in Erith,saw that someone mentioned Beckton,you know if that's still going,would be better for me I live right next to new Docklands in Shadwell.
 
ha ha ha ha,I know,aint it changed,single handrail,2 boards,pub every dinner time,has all gone,have blagged my way without a ticket all these years,just can't get away with it no more,have got a trainee til october,so the clocks counting on when i have to do my part one.

Don't worry bud there was 2 blokes who really didn't need to be doing part ones when I went. The young uns will like having an experienced bloke watching over them. Good luck!

Now am I a VIP Mod or just a Mod......
