dv clearance can take 6months and £18,000 to cost the process and i believe thats the basic clearance its needed for nuclear and germ warfare testing facilities ie aldermaston and the like.theres credit checks the lot they assess if you could be susseptible to a bribe the clearance is updated regularly.
