Sorry I can't make it in this morning Chris, you'll never believe what's happened. Manchester United's team bus has broken down outside my house and they can't get to their Champions League game tonight so I need to ring taxi's for them tonight make sure the game isn't called off.

I can't make it in tomorrow mate. My dad was on a flight back from Benidorm last night when the pilot had a heart attack, so they asked if anyone could fly the plane and he made an emergency landing for them at Heathrow.

Sorry I can't make it in this morning, you'll never believe what's happened. I was leaving the house to come to work and dropped my Oyster Card down a drain, I can't get it out and all the shops near me are closed for refurbishment until November.
