The function
An Offshore Chargehand must be capable of leading a competent team of trade disciplines effectively within a safety driven environment.
As a Chargehand our safety culture must be communicated throughout the team at all levels ensuring that compliance with agreed
specifications and tasks are carried out in accordance with the accepted safe working practices, current rules and regulations and with
strict adherence to the prescribed permit to work conditions. It is their responsibility to ensure that plant and equipment is maintained on a
regular and daily basis throughout the workscope duration, being a key member as part of the team to deliver a high standard of work on
project completion.
Requirements
Minimum Task Achievement Requirements:
Carry out tool box talks
Carry out safety meetings
Leadership of team
Complete all relevant admin/paperwork
Access Stork BMS system
Minimum Training Requirements
Confirmed competent as a Trade Operative
COSHH – Awareness
Knowledge of client specification/Manufacturers data sheets
Clients permit training
Health/Safety and Environmental Risk Assessment – awareness
Work at height regulations – awareness
Confined space awareness
Applicants must hold a valid CISRS (Advanced) card
