Zone Supervisor Level 1
Location: Highlands & Islands

Salary:£20.46

Number of Positions: 2
We are currently recruiting for 2 Zone Supervisors – level 1 for the GPS- Project at St Fergus Gas Terminal for our Fabric and Maintenance contract due to recent restructure.
Suitable candidates must be proactive, provide supervision, direction and drive. The successful candidate will support the scaffolding team, blaster/painters and insulation teams onshore to ensure a high degree of productivity is achieved and a high standard of work is maintained whilst controlling the quality of all specifications.
The ideal candidate for this position will have excellent communication skills, will demonstrate appropriate competence, commitment and attitude to deliver this multi task position together with competency and training certification as detailed below.
Candidates must also confirm and show total commitment regarding respecting, communicating and participating in the mind safety culture of the Company and the onshore work environment.
The role requires at least two years experience in a supervisory capacity whilst managing Fabric Maintenance activities. The individual shall be a suitably trained and qualified advanced scaffolder, with a valid CISRS card, will have Knowledge of Insulation and Painting activities, will be trained in ISSOW to PA Status, will be capable of undertaking surveys and will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Computer literacy is essential to succeed in this role.
This role will suit an organised individual who has the ability to plan and prioritise make effective decisions, has knowledge of management information systems and reporting requirements. The successful applicants will also be able to lead, develop and motivate their team and has the ability to offer resolutions to operational challenges.
