Hi all I had to take some work with ForeFront Scaffolding Solutions about 4 weeks ago,as it was my first time using a agencie was not sure how it would go.I used the above company and was set to work in northLondon how ever after starting work on the Monday was told that i was no longer needed and that the firm i was working for had told Fourfront that no more Scaffs were needed for that week.I Was paid for the 3 days work i had done but have not been paid for the work on the Monday. I was not told not to go to site on the Monday and after emails and phone calls to Forefront have still not seen any payment.So please bare this in mind if you have to deal with ForeFront.
 
all agencies are ***** mate they just **** the average working man and line there own pocket.Just shame goverment or union dont stand up to them.
 
iv worked for mark and lee on many occasions and never had any probs with them im sure if you ring them after the monday morning rush they will sort things out
 
doubt that very much steady pal if thgey where ok they would get a set of spanners on and sweat like the rest of us. Just a shame they sit in there warm office with a phone ******* every one over
 
everybody has there own opinion and that is urs as i said never had a problem with them infact they have even subbed me money to enable me to get a start for them wen times have been hard yes ultimately its in there interest but i wudnt hessitate in ringing them anytime for work im sory this lad has had a prob but i know them both to be fair lads

If everyone did that who would price, estimate and tender the jobs? Who would order the gear and do the logistics. There would be a lot of men standing around with spanners on doing nothing!
 
leave agencys alone. eash said then done lads but they will keep taken the money and laughing at ye.
If ye take a agency job i hope they take ye eyes out.
 
been saying this for ages if you leave themm alone the real firms will have tput adverts up and the agencys will be fucked then

all fine and well steady but there is a guy out of pocket here maybe there has been an oversight but id bet forefront have been paid for the guys graft by now while he waits his renumeration not good.
 
celtic i fully understand that and that is y I and another forum user stated very early on its best to ring this company and get it straighted out asap which is what i would of certainly have done myself
 
why if they are such a great company and are spot on with the wonga and even give you subs to work for them does this guy have to phone up and sort there mess out pmsl am a missing something here????
 
celtic im not saying there the best company in the world cuz theres no such thing all i stated was that i, myself had not had any problems with them and after all everybody is human and capible of making a mistake and if the lad wants his dough he should ring them and bring it to there attention

i agree upto a point,most agencys get a bad press on here but when all the dirty linen is washed steady the men are generally vindicated and the agencies seem more than not to be at fault.......id say having to bring a period of work to an employers attention that he hadent paid up is a tad more than human error mate,knockers spring to mind.although you wait the said agency will be on spewing that the lad has been paid and all is well to the next time when payment might not be forthcoming get my drift.
 
I'm working for an agency at the minute and if you get paid each week that's all that matters. I'm trying to get a job on the books anywhere but until that happens I'd rather work for an agency than be on the rock and role

I Must Admit To Have Taken The Agencies Money On More Than One Occasion, I Use Agencies Like They Use Me, As A Means To An End, They Pay The Bills, And At The End Of The Day Thats What It Comes Down To. The Idea Of Climbing The Corporate Ladder Really Just Dosent Exist For Me Chaps (Too Outspoken).
 
my humble apoligies but im not talking about taking work with an agency we all do what we have to do if that means working for them so be it.....i was talking about the fact they(fore front)have fcuked over a guy for his monies nothing else,but as always the agency in question will be on here giving nonsensical excuses as per usual.they sound a shower of sh1t to me.
 
WELL all I can say to this boys is if you dont like agencies DONT work for them.....
Personally I've worked for forefront and never had a problem with money being paid. What I would say to you is give Lee a ring and he'll sort it out
