Rush hour chaos as scaffolding from derelict pub crashes into Dudley Road (1 Viewer)

How the fck has that managed to come down like that?? Both elevation have fallen outwards. I know it's netted before anyone says owt, it must not have been connected on the return

with all the bricks on the scaffold I would say the wall was knocked from the inside and then fell against it.

I get that, but only one elevation normally comes down and then the returns left up and twisted, just seem strange that both elevations have fallen outwards. ( probably thinking about this too much, might be time for some more porn)

I'm local to this job and went past it last weekend and noticed that the right side was bent and buckled where the demo team had dropped the wall onto the handrails/ledgers which were overhanging the end of the working platform. I told my wife at the time that I would be p#@sed off if that was my gear.

I never saw anyone working off the scaff, but it seemed a tidy enough job but it was not tied in. Instead of getting it tied and scaff removed as the building came down they just demo'd it with the scaff up in the air. Poor planning.
