The thing is, there going to need 100s of scaffolders on this contract.. there is over 70 structures that need scaffolding on it along with handrails and access towers etc..

If they are offering £12 odd an hour they wont get 100s of lads.. keep telling them to RAM IT until the rates go up!

Hope things pick up lads, seems doom and gloom nowadays with everything going through agencies, they take there cut for sitting on there arse doing nothing, also put us through an umbrella company where they get commission and the umbrella company make us pay two stamps plus a weekly fee and do us out of even more money.

Principals are playing all the Agencies like a fiddle in an attempt to keep costs down…BAD STRATEGY on this Project…the Agencies have nothing without the Scaffolders…perhaps, the interested parties, the Scaffolders on this Form should approach the Principal on mass and propose there supply of Scaffolders be directly employed or Self Employed and get rid of this Agency carpet baggers that feed from the sweet of honest Scaffolders brows, indeed, they take the bread from our Bairns mouths…
