It is with deep regret that we share the very sad news that James Day, author of the scaffold estimating software CASE, has passed away after a long illness. James was well known to many in the scaffolding industry who will be saddened to hear of his passing. The contribution that James and his father Gary have made to the scaffolding industry cannot be overstated, and James will be fondly remembered.
My colleague Richard Pearce adds, “James refused to surrender to his illness. In all my dealings with James, he always retained a sense of humour and remained optimistic. He fought a valiant battle.”
Anyone wishing to express their condolences to James’ family may send cards ‘care of CADS office’ at the address below for forwarding to his family.
