Priory have always been crap, just stick to IMN you know they are top notch,i still buy the old styled nipped box ones but they are getting harder to find,Leechs do them still, not keen on the new style as the box is a fraction longer and it doesnt feel right to me,

On the subject of spanners, after using one for 3 months before it fell apart I would never use a priory spanner again.

On the subject of labourers... the phrase "you pay peanuts you get monkeys" comes to mind... but really this is another subject for another thread.

Personally I'd prefer to use a Nailspan every time, its heavier than most spanners nowadays but that just means you can give fittings a whack without worrying about bending the damn thing and as with the IMN there's no exposed rivet to catch yourself on

Tried quite a few 'Elsie Tanners' over the last 31 years, Britool started good, then went pearshaped, i agree with some of the guys, Nailspan for me, cant afford any of that Titanium gear.

Yup, those IMN titananiums are good!

I do love those real heavy chunky stainless ones that IMN do, specially for striking

The Burtons are ok(ish) for the yard - newbies! - but not much more than that!!!!!!!!

tinheads how do you get on with the nail puller thingy? I have seen them around a few times, but never used one..
We don't normally have to fill the board cracks, so not many nails on our boards, luckily.

in places like Mossmorran F.E.P any gap has to be covered with a sheet of plywood, so you get plenty of practice with nail pulling lol
