Harsco Infrastructure appoints new UK managing director

Harsco Infrastructure has appointed former AMEC and Cape executive Richard Shuttleworth as managing director of its UK business.
He joins Harsco Infrastructure following a long career in construction and oil and gas, including 28 years at AMEC - culminating in him being appointed group commercial director - and two years as UK managing director of Cape Industrial Services
, the specialist in scaffolding and other services to industrial customers.
Harsco said that Mr Shuttleworth has a wealth of experience and a proven track record in construction, oil and gas, power, process and rail industries, in both commercial and operational capacities. It highlighted his expertise in project management, training, procurement and business turnarounds.

Harsco Infrastructure operates in two core sectors: providing construction services and industrial maintenance services. In the UK it supplies scaffolding, mechanical access, painting, insulation, blasting, roofing, shelters, formwork, shoring, accommodation and safety equipment to major contractors and industrial facility operators.
