It has been reported that a construction worker has fallen to his death from scaffolding at a property in Washington Avenue, St Leonards, East Sussex.

The workman was taken to the local Conquest Hospital but pronounced dead shortly after arrival. We undertstand that scaffolding may have been in the process of erection at the time of the fall and that the deceased may have been a scaffolder.
